1. Out of Bounds (OOB)

All boundaries including white posts to
left of 3rd and 6th fairways, behind 9th green and to right
of 18th fairway.

Internal OOB's are marked with white posts
to the left of 7th and 14th fairways and the ditches form
the line of most of these OOB's.
2. Water Hazards R&A Rule 26-1 (Yellow
Posts)
The river where it runs across the 1st, 8th,
9th and 10th fairways.
3. Lateral Water Hazards R&A Rule
26-1c (Red Posts)
All permanent water other than in 2 above
and all ditches other than those defined as OOB's.
4. Movable Obstructions R&A Rule
25-1
Stones in bunkers.
5. Immovable Obstructions R & A Rule
24-2
Seats, hosepipe connections and immovable
hosepipes, tee markers, machinery, indicator posts and white
OOB posts to left of 7th and 14th fairways when playing other
holes.
6. Fences Protecting 6th, 15th and 17th
Tees
A ball lying within one club length of a fence
may be lifted and dropped either side of fence within two
club lengths of fence, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
7. Ground Under Repair (GUR) R&R
Rule 25-1
Mounds of earth, bar patches on closely mown
areas, cracks, deep ruts and tracks made by machinery, open
narrow slit drains and the well and surrounding long grass
between the 4th and 5th holes.
